From blank sheet to results file, in seven steps.
The workflow is the same on Windows and Android. Here is what you do at each step, and what the software does for you.
The seven steps
Set up the exam
Name the exam, choose the number of questions and options, switch on the roll number and sheet numbering, and enter the answer key with its marks.
Windows and Android
Generate the sheets
The A4 sheet is drawn from your settings, with four corner markers, your title fields and a bubble for every option. Numbered sheets run 001, 002, 003.
Windows and Android
Print on A4
Print a test sheet first and check it. Windows prints straight to the chosen printer at A4; on Android, save the sheets and print them at A4 with fit-to-page off.
Direct printing on Windows
Hand out the sheets
Candidates fill each bubble completely with a dark pen or pencil, write their roll number in the grid, and keep the corner markers clean.
Scan the filled sheets
Feed the stack through a document scanner, add image files, or photograph each sheet with the whole page and its four corners in view.

Grade and review
Every sheet is read and scored in one pass. Two marks on a question, blanks, repeated sheet numbers and unknown roll numbers are flagged for you to check.
Windows and Android
Export the results
Save the class results as an Excel workbook, the marked sheets as PDF or images, and a backup file that opens on the other platform.
Windows and Android
What happens when a sheet is read.
The same five stages run for every sheet, on both platforms.
Find the page
Each quarter of the image is searched for a corner marker. A corner counts only when a white dot is found inside a complete black square.
Straighten it
The four corners map the photo back onto the A4 layout it was printed from, which removes tilt and perspective.
Read the numbers
The roll-number grid and the sheet number are read and matched to the class register.
Read the bubbles
Every option of every question is measured. One clear mark is an answer; two marks or none are flagged.
Mark it
Answers are compared with the key and the marks are added up, including any negative marking.
